Day 1: A panoramic introduction of Quito

Start your trip with an exciting tour of Ecuador's capital, Quito. Discover the city's historical center, pay a visit to popular attractions like The Basilica del Voto Nacional and El Panecillo, and take a relaxing walk through the Independence Square. Finish the day at the Middle of the World Monument, which is located on the Equator.

Day 2: Explore to New Heights with a Cable Car Visit

Take a cable car ride on Day 2 to enhance your experience and get amazing views of Quito and the surrounding areas. Take in the view of Ecuador from above as you look at the Andean peaks.

Day 3: Cotopaxi Volcano Adventure

Take an unforgettable day trip to Cotopaxi National Park to hike one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. Hike to the refuge at 4,800 meters, and if you want more of a challenge hike up even more to 5,000 meters. Enjoy the amazing view from such a unique perspective and celebrate your achievement of hiking this great volcano. After making your way down go to Limpiopungo Lagoon and learn about the reason why Cotopaxi means ‘Moons Throne’

Day 4: Quilotoa the Emerald Lake

This day starts off with a visit to the vibrant local market of Saquisili where you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere. Continuing the trip you will drive through various indigenous villages of the area, which provide a fantastic chance to see the true Ecuador. The highlight of the day awaits at the Quilotoa Crater Lake. You can soak in the breathtaking views and the natural beauty of the area with a two-hour walk down to the Laguna. For those wanting a bit more adventure, you can go kayaking in the clear lake before hiking back up.

Days 5–8: Immersion in the Amazon Rainforest

Go to Lago Agrio by bus to experience the heart of the Amazon Rainforest. Over the next four days you will see the amazing biodiversity, explore the beautiful surroundings, and move through the rivers. Stay at Waita Lodge, a beautiful eco lodge located in the deepest part of the Amazon with comfortable cabins and experienced, local tour guides. Go on night walks through the jungle, early morning birdwatching activities and swim with pink dolphins. Explore the incredible wildlife that calls this place home.

Days 8-11: Galapagos Islands - A Natural Wonder

Take a plane to the Galapagos Islands, and base yourself on Santa Cruz Island. Visit the Flamingo Lagoon to start your trip, then hike to Isabela Island's Sierra Negra Active Volcano. Take in the striking splendor of this UNESCO World Heritage site, swim with sharks and marine iguanas, and visit the breeding center where giant tortoises can be found.

Day 12: Travel day to Lima and relax

Travel from Galapagos to Peru by plane. A good budget airline to travel with is Arajet.  After a full day of traveling, you can settle into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxing rest of the day.

Day 13: Cusco city tour

Take a guided trip to explore Koricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Q¬enqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay and immerse yourself in the rich history of the city. In the evening you can enjoy Cusco's nightlife or have dinner at a local restaurant. 

Day 14: Sacred Valley tour

This day offers a full immersion into the Sacred Valley, an area rich in cultural diversity. Beginning at Pisac's busy market, you can interact with regional artists, shop for handcrafted souvenirs, and take in the lively atmosphere. A visit to the Chinchero market, where the rainbow's colors come to life in the fabrics and art, marks the end of the day. You'll return to Cusco as the sun sets, fascinated with the Sacred Valley's rich cultural legacy.

Day 15: Cusco to Aguas Calientes

Excitement builds as you take off on a lovely train ride to Aguas Calientes, the starting point for Machu Picchu. Visit the Machu Picchu 'Manuel Chávez Ballón' museum or relax in its natural hot springs. Enjoy the peace and quiet of Aguas Calientes and get ready for the next big event.

Day 16: Machu Picchu in Its Glory - Big Day!

As you travel to Machu Picchu at dawn, the trip reaches its peak.  The complex details of the ancient castle are revealed during a guided tour that highlights the Incas' amazing architectural design. For those who want to experience an extra adrenaline rush, climbing Wayna Picchu is an option. Following a full day of touring, you head back to Aguas Calientes for a well-earned lunch.

Day 17- 20: Arequipa and Colca Canyon

Travel to Arequipa, Peru's "White City," via bus or airplane. Explore the Santa Catalina Monastery and stroll through the ancient alleys. Travel to Colca Canyon for breathtaking views and think about going on a hike there. Take in the breathtaking Andean scenery and enjoy the ideal fusion of culture, history, and natural beauty during Your last days in Peru.
