Galapagos truly enchants and captivates all who are fortunate enough to grace its shores. It is a living museum of evolution full of unique species, such as the land iguana, the giant tortoise and the many types of finches, which inspired Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution by natural selection after his visit in 1835. Visitors tend to gaze in wonderment not only at its wildlife, but at the sheer beauty of its landscapes and the cerulean hues of its waters. For many, this is a once-in-a-lifetime, unparalleled experience.
