Tour Schedule (Note: This is a tentative itinerary).
DAY 1: TRANSFER TO OUR ANDES LODGE - HOSTERIA PAPAGAYO
We will depart Quito in our private transportation and head to our Andes Lodge located at 3,000 m (9,843 ft). We will have a free afternoon and spend the night at Hosteria Papagayo.

DAY 2: CLIMB ILINIZA NORTE (5,126 M / 16,800 FT)
We will get up at 6:00 and depart to La Virgen parking lot after breakfast. Here starts the climb to the summit of Iliniza Norte, at 5,150 m (16,897 ft). It takes about 5 hours with trekking equipment to reach this height. We then descend back to the Virgen parking lot and hop on our transport to return to the lodge. Night at Hosteria Papagayo.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO COTOPAXI NATIONAL PARK
We leave from the Lodge at 14:00. Our private transportation will drive us to Cotopaxi National Park, up to the parking lot at 4,500 m (14,764 ft). We will hike for about an hour to reach the refuge at 4,800 m (15,748 ft). Here, we will have a hot drink and eat our box lunch. After this nice rest, we will practice in the glaciers for approximately one hour before returning to the refuge to savour a delicious dinner at 18:00. We will spend the night in the Cotopaxi refuge.

DAY 4: CLIMB COTOPAXI (5,897 M / 19,300 FT)
We will get up at 00:00 during the night to pick up our equipment and have a special tea. Then, we will start the ascent to the summit, which is at 5,897 m (19,300 ft). The climb up will take approximately 5 to 6 hours. Once at the summit, we will stay about 20 minutes to take pictures and admire the landscape. We will then hike back down to the refuge in about 3 hours and will be driven to the lodge. Here, you will be able to enjoy the spa and a massage for an additional price. Finally, we will make our way back to Quito, where we should arrive towards 13:00 or 14:00.

NOTE: At the moment is not possible to climb Cotopaxi Volcano as for security the National Park suspends this activity, as an alternative we are offering the Cayambe Volcano.
For experienced and acclimatized people, we offer more options such as Iliniza South, Antisana, and the highest mountain in Ecuador, the Chimborazo Volcano.
